Andrew Barnes for Babylon. Painted April '24.

Raised on the Puget Sound in Bremerton and Port Orchard, Andrew Barnes has been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember. After moving to Seattle, he was introduced to oil painting by artist Jesse Edwards - A turning point that shaped his approach. Barnes went on to study at Gage Academy in Seattle and the San Francisco Art Institute before relocating to Los Angeles, where he lives and works today. His work brings a classical discipline to abrasive subject matter, balancing chaos with order through composition.
